Designed in Neo-Georgian Colonial architectural style, the Prosper Town Hall anchors the Town’s historic CBD and serves as the connective tissue between downtown and a large mixed-use development. The Town Hall encompasses City Administration, HR, IT, Finance, Development Services, Engineering, Utility Billing, Planning, Inspection, Municipal Court, and Library.

RSA’s design prioritized flexibility, anticipating the town’s growth and evolving needs. In the short term, the Town Hall and Library are linked in a single building with separate entrances, allowing certain staff functions to be shared. Distributed shell space and flexible furniture systems throughout allow the Town to adapt quickly to rapidly changing needs. Ultimately, the Town Hall will occupy the entire building. To accomplish this, the design anticipated construction of a future freestanding library and backfilling the vacated space with customer service functions. Additional expansion will occur in place of the structural balconies.

The Prosper Town Hall’s design quality and materiality reflects a 300-year mindset: an aspiration that the building will someday be listed on the National Register of Historic Places to honor its timeless design.
